Teamwork Internship Partner

Partner Since:
July, 2006
Interns Placed to Date:

In 2006, YouthForce first partnered with the Seattle Seahawks to provide 50 teens entry-level work experiences as the “Hawk Squad” during home games.  Over the past 7 years, the partnership has grown and today, 140 teens are hired for each Seahawks season. Teens develop customer service, communication, team work, leadership, and problem solving skills in the exciting atmosphere of  home football games at CenturyLink Stadium!

TeamWork Interns play a key role during Seahawks games, delivering the best possible game-day experience for fans by sharing positive teen energy and high enthusiasm as they perform their duties around the stadium. Typical game day jobs include assisting with fan friendly activities and booths in Touchdown City, distributing promotional giveaways, providing wheelchair assistance and directional support to fans that need it, assisting in pre-game and half-time shows and facilitating tours.

Anyone who has visited the stadium for a game has probably seen a few YouthForce interns handing out promotional giveaway items, providing directions at Guest Services, or running the inflatable booths for kids in Touchdown City!

“The most valuable thing I have gained from YouthForce has been an improvement in my communication skills. Before this experience I had a horrible time trying to communicate to adults. After working at the Stadium and interacting with the staff and fans, I have gained more confidence in speaking up when I need to with adults and even in groups of people.” - TeamWork Intern Driskell
