When Seattle’s first Major League Soccer team began playing at CenturyLink Field in 2009, the YouthForce “Hawk Squad” was expanded to cover Seattle Sounders FC and became the TeamWork Internship Program.
Over 85 teens are hired to work each Sounder FC season. Teens develop customer service, communication, team work, leadership, and problem solving skills in the exciting atmosphere of a home soccer games at CenturyLink Field!

TeamWork Interns play a key role during Sounders FC games, delivering the best possible game-day experience for fans by sharing positive teen energy and high enthusiasm as they perform their duties around the stadium. Typical game day jobs include assisting with fan friendly activities and booths at Soccer Celebration, distributing promotional giveaways, providing wheelchair assistance and directional support to fans that need it, assisting in pre-game and half-time shows and facilitating tours.

Anyone who has visited the stadium for a game has probably seen a few YouthForce interns handing out promotional giveaway items, providing directions at Guest Services, or running the inflatable booths for kids at Soccer Celebration.
