Teen Resources Job Skills Training

Launch your Career

Are you looking for a job to earn money?  Do you want to build your resume and gain valuable work skills?

YouthForce is a one of a kind youth employment program at  Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, providing teens who have the desire to develop their career paths with the critical tools, resources and opportunities needed to realize their goals.

How does YouthForce help you launch your career?

1. We’ll help you find a paying job!
2. We’ll introduce you to a dedicated YouthForce staff member: YouthForce offers individualized college counseling, career guidance, and mentoring to each teen so they may succeed in their internships and develop skills as self-directed learners.
3. We’ll connect you with YouthForce University: Workshops and resources to build a portfolio for post high school

As we continue to develop our website, there will be more information and recourses for teens, as well as details about YouthForce Internships and Workshops, as well as answers to the most frequently asked questions.

In the meantime, here are some helpful links from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America:

Career Launch: Online career exploration, college and job search information and interactive activities.

Money Matters:  Learn how to manage a checking account, create a budget, save and invest, start small businesses and pay for college.

Listen to what some of our current teens have to say about the program:

“YouthForce has made me proud to have completed the whole college application process when my initial thoughts were not to go in the first place.

– YouthForce Intern 2012

“YouthForce gave me a taste of what the real world would be like, what was expected of me, how to present myself, and how to be successful.  It gave me real world experience that I would never have been able to get while just in high school.”
