In Iesha’s Words
I am a member at the Smilow Boys & Girls Club and I always saw teens who got jobs at YouthForce, and I wanted one. So I applied and got a great start with the YouthForce staff who were helpful in guiding me on how to join the team.
I wanted to join YouthForce because it seemed like a fun opportunity a chance to actually meet people that I would never get to meet and see what I’ve seen so far. The job helped me gain more experience: I’ve learned how to work with other people who are from all different types of back grounds, disabilities, ethnicities, families, etc.
YouthForce impacted me because one day during a break at work, I went to meet the army recruiters and got more information about who they are and what they do. So now that I have learned more and got to know more information I will be joining the Army National Guard this June!!
If you are somebody who actually likes to work, meet new people, get to enjoy game day experience, but also work rain or shine then YouthForce is a great opportunity for you. There are great people to meet and things to see working at the stadium. There are more than just the games, its fun and you never know who you will get to see and meet. I’ve learned that I am self motivated, can do things on my own, got to learn more retail experience by working in the pro shop, how to handle working with all different types of people, and meeting different adults, youth , and enjoying myself while actually working and not being bored. With a job at YouthForce you will NEVER be bored it’s just so much for you to do.
Thank you YOUTHFORCE it’s been GREAT!
